Growing up with  American bluegrass and Australian country music influences, when mixed with her Irish heritage it’s no wonder Sarah McMonagle has such a unique musical sound.

Sarah first took to the stage to sing with her Dad and sister in a local country music festival when she was 8 years old, and she has never looked back.

Through years of involvement in Brisbane country music clubs and competing in the Queensland talent quest circuit, Sarah has grown into the incredible entertainer that she is today. Whether she is singing one of her original songs or popular cover Sarah is sure to make your skin tingle as she uses her rich, earthy voice and powerful stage presence to tell her stories.

The last few years have been extremely successful for Sarah on the country music talent quest circuit where she has built up a strong and steady fan base. Sarah has been accepted to attend the CMAA College of Country Music in 2007 and won 3rd place in the Female Vocal section at the prestigious Queensland Champion of Champions in 2006. With these achievements it is only natural that Sarah has recorded her debut, self titled EP to be released in December this year. It includes 4 self penned songs and a funky cover of the classic Paul Kelly song “Love Never Runs on Time”.

This talented young singer/songwriter from Brisbane has a huge future in the country music industry so keep your eyes out and ears open for Sarah McMonagle.
