Col Finley’s new album ‘Paradise’ will give us an insight of where Col Finley is at these days. With a new baby boy and a new bride Col believes he is in paradise. It has taken 15 years of hard touring and performing for Col Finley to reach his paradise.

Starting at the age of 24, Col started his career in Country Music performing in pubs and clubs developing his own style of Country Music and over the years Col has reached a place in which his song writing comes from the heart and his true life experiences.

As Col’s fan base grew, so did the touring seeing Col travel all around Australia and overseas performing at Festivals. Col has been a fixture at popular Festivals such as Mud Bulls & Music, Gympie Muster, Monkerai B&S and in the last 5 years has toured the US for Fanfair. Col’s energetic live performances have won the hearts of his loyal fan base and has kept him busy touring.

Since 1999 when Col Finley received the BMI Nashville songwriter of the year for ‘Gift Wrapped in a Child ‘, Col has been rewarded for his unique talent with the  Australian Songwriter Award in 2000, Tiara for Independent Male Vocal of the year 2004 along with a string of other awards. Last year (2008) Col reached # 4 on the Aria Pop Charts and made Finalist for Country Music at the Music Oz Awards.

As ‘Paradise’ is the start of the future for Col Finley, the album, produced by Andrew Cochran is expected to reach great heights. We’ll also see Col Finley grow further into the history of Australian Country Music.
